PERSONAL INJURY - REALITY CHECK

When someone gets hurt in an auto accident, airplane, bus, truck etc... it can put that individual(s) in a reality check. Have you heard about the expression "it can make you or break you"?!?!

Welcome to my blog!

In this blog you will find helpful information about the first steps you need to take when an auto accident occurs.

WHAT TO DO IF YOU JUST HAD A CAR ACCIDENT?

1. Stay calm
2. Put on your hazard lights
3. Call 911 and make sure to mention if anyone is injured or death
4. Do not admit fault! There may be other factors to the accident that you may not be aware of. When the police officers arrive tell them the facts of what happened and let them draw their own conclusion.
5. If possible, write down information about the accident. this is including the following:

(A) Time and date of the accident
(B) Names, addresses, telephone numbers of drivers, passengers, pedestrians and possible eye witnesses
(C) Vehicle details such as year, make, model, color, registration number and any custom look/change of the car
(D) Insurance details
(E) Weather
(F) Identify the indicator of the accident

6. If you have a camera, take pictures of the scene. (some people are able to take pictures with their phone)

Keep in mind:
It's an offense to refuse to give details to the other party following an accident and vise versa.
